The stunning Nice coastline is set to be the backdrop for the return of Riviera Electro Festival on Sunday, August 29th and the truly unique venue of Theatre de Verdure will be the place to be. For an event as grand as REF the venue and occasion requires a suitably grand lineup and the join team have assembled a mouth-watering array of music. Leading out the ceremony is local artist Strictly Idris, the Kwartz Club resident is one of the leading lights in the French city. Handing over to British minimal head Digby, there is sure to be a shift in energy as the Flash As A Rat head rolls out bomb after bomb.
Helping to turn the groove from warm up to peak time is German artist Christian Burkhardt. There is little Christian hasn’t done during his illustrious career. Pressure Traxx, Cocoon Recordings, Raum…music, Oslo as well as countless festivals and club dates Christian is still at the top of his game. What would a festival event be without one of the THE most in demand names on the scene. Fresh from closing out Summer of Love alongside his [a:rpia:r] brothers Raresh will surely be on sizzling form.
Finally closing out this amazing day of sun drenched fun is Perlon artist Maayan Nidam. A bit of a favourite around the Trommel office the Berlin based machine commander will be signing off on surely another hit edition of Riviera Electro Festival. As if all that has gone before is not enough there will also be an after party with a secret special guest.
