2020 was a one of the darkest years for electronic music and divided the dance floor. Fast forward to 2022 and we are most certainly reunited and with it has come some insanely good collaborations. Fashion, EP’s, LP’s, labels 2022 is without a doubt the year of the collaboration and for the next huge minimal event at Studio 338 two of the biggest players HOME London and Yoyaku will be joining forces on Saturday, June 18th for one of the biggest events to hit London for some weeks.
Making full use of all that Studio 338 has to offer and the marathon event will kick off in the massive Garden space and who better to be in charge of those al fresco sounds than France’s Yoyaku. Summer sounds with punch is what they do best and for the occasion they will be drafting in some of the biggest hitters. Top selector Janeret will be joined by fellow label mate Lamache and HOME regular Charlotte for the 10 hour long outdoor session. Squeezing every last drop of sunshine out of the sky it will be tall order to tear yourself away to check out the action on the Terrace but we have a feeling that there will be just enough going on there to warrant the shift indoors.
Firing up the gargantuan Void system indoors will be a serious array of Romanian selectors that has quality shooting from every facet of the line-up. RPR man Raresh surely tops the bill here and his previous sets on the terrace have secured his spot as one of the event series’ favourite bookings and there really is no mystery why. He will be joined by more top artists in the shape of Mihigh, Sepp, and Cap who all lay claim to be headliners in their own right. Providing the early support will be Stump resident Kearun and with his profile rising through the ranks it won’t be long before he begins taking big steps up within the European scene.
