What started out as group of friends from Utrecht playing records and throwing outrageous parties has progressed to becoming one of the most sought after events in Europe. Ten years has gone by quickly for SlapFunk and in that time, there has been many new and established artists brought into the family fold, many top events have been smashed and they are now 25 releases deep with their on-point record label.
To celebrate a decade in the game the SlapFunk crew have devised a tour of Europe’s finest music emporiums. With Manchester and Leeds already in the bag they now look forward to one of their own stomping grounds of Amsterdam. Taking control of the massive Lofi event space and for their weekender they have performing Anthea, Brawther (live), DJ Senc, Doudou MD, Fumiya Tanaka, Ingi Visions, and Sugar Free.
Not a week will pass and another huge event will be taking place and this time Barcelona’s OFF Week is the location. Their collaboration with Watermelon at Atlantic Club is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the week. The date to mark in OFF Week dance card is Friday, June 17th and taking center stage will be Anthea, Doudou MD, Samuel Deep, Sugar Free, Sweely, and The Ghost.
The next date in the SlapFunk tour diary will be their hook up with long time brothers and sisters in beats VBX and the location will be Tisno and Dimensions Festival. Their sun kissed at The Beach stage will be undoubtedly be one of the draws of the weekend and with Christian AB, Doudou MD, Raresh, Reiss, Samuel Deep, Sonja Moonear, and Youandewan.
