Closer is an independent club and arts space in Kyiv, Ukraine, and the team behind Strichka and Brave! Factory festivals. Trommel has reported from its events year after year, from Brave! Factory 2024 to Strichka 2026, and covered Closer’s 10-year anniversary in Berlin. We have also covered its spring Maslyana and Masnytsya gatherings, its own DJ school, showcases in Amsterdam and Dubai, and its 2020 fundraiser, which hit its target in record time.
