- Featured image alt text No featured image set – please add one.
- Suggested SEO title (optional): Trotamundo 2027 Lineup: Ricardo Villalobos & More | Trommel
- Tags to add or fix: Add: Ricardo Villalobos, Sonja Moonear, Dyed Soundorom, Daniel Bell, Nicola Cruz (existing tags). Existing “Lost Beach Club” tag is fine.
- Add these links: “Trotamundo returns” → https://trommelmusic.com/news/trotamundo-announce-the-full-line-up-for-their-2026-return-to-ecuador/; “Un_Mute” → https://trommelmusic.com/news/un_mute-joins-forces-with-resolute-and-desimana-to-deliver-a-top-mmw-trip/
- Issues: No featured image set. “Full lineup -” is followed by the stray text “.JPG” – looks like a lineup image that was never inserted. Typos: “Federico Molinariis” (Federico Molinari?), “Montanita” (Montañita).
The pilgrimage to Ecuador’s Pacific coast is on again. Trotamundo returns to Montañita from 6 to 12 January 2027, with seven days and nights of music centred on Lost Beach Club on Calle Primera. Having grown steadily since 2024, this time the format stretches to a full week.
The 2027 lineup looks to be the most ambitious yet, and the phase one artist clutch stays true to the Trotamundo ethos of placing regional hitters side by side with international legends. Many of the South American countries are very well represented, with Momo Trosman, Franco Cinelli, and Federico Molinariis taking care of Argentina, Z@P and DJ Koolt from Uruguay; TRAJANO will be repping Brazil, Zombies in Miami have Mexico covered; Max Kraushaar and DJ Umho look after Chile, Raphael Carrau has Brazilian and Uruguayan roots; while Nicola Cruz and Silvia Ponce will be batting for the home country of Ecuador. North of the border, Un_Mute residents Alex Pastor and Mario Liberti will be joined by Daniel Bell, San Dee, Shaun Reeves, Shvili, and Magda.
The Europe-based artists make up a sizeable portion of phase one, with some returning faces and some new artists joining the fray. Making the trip to Montañita will be Alexander Skancke, Aline Umber, Álvaro Medina, Dan Ghenacia, Desyn, Dyed Soundorom, Edward, Elia Nafzger, Garret David, Jane Fitz, Krol, Mayell, Olga Korol, Reptant, Shonky, Sibil, Sonja Moonear, Sweely, Thomas Melchior, and Truly Madly.
At this point, Trotamundo is already bursting at the seams with all manner of festival highlights, but there is still the matter of the next instalment of artist names. The most notable of phase two names is that of Ricardo Villalobos. It is a well-known fact that there is always excitement when Un_Mute and Ricardo are mentioned in the same sentence; add to the mix the tropical South American setting and the stage is set for an almighty return.
Completing the headliner section of phase two, there are even more luminaries to be found. Covering a range of sounds from minimal to electro and techno, you will find Binh, Collin Chiddle, Cristi Cons, Dan Andrei, Dana Ruh, E.Lina, Jonny Rock, Konduku, Monile, Rafa, Robert Roman, Sweet6teen, and Tania Vulcano all ready to blow minds.
