2Lovers invite Cartulis for their first event of the season

Rome-born collective 2Lovers, founded in 2023 by Danilo Leoni and Daniel Di Domenico, has grown from a friendship rooted in a shared love of vinyl into a multifaceted music and creative project. Built around resident DJs Dino, Denise Luzzi, Inthenino, Truman, and Surge, the crew hosts parties in private villas, clubs, and independent spaces, from its Roman home base to London, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Barcelona, focusing on freedom, inclusion, and connection on the dancefloor. 

Beyond the parties, 2Lovers has expanded into the 2Lovers & Friends series for emerging DJs, the women-focused 2Lovers Girlz, the Instagram-based 2Lovers Magazine, a SoundCloud podcast, and hand-screen-printed limited-edition clothing alongside a curated vintage line.

With all of this wealth of experience steeped in their brand, 2Lovers now prepare to welcome London outfit Cartullis to Rome. Taking place on 14th-15th November, the first event of their 25 / 26 campaign will take the party to a new location and a brand new villa space that we are sure will be worth the wait. Repping Cartulis will be founder and artist extraordinaire Unai Trotti, and his renowned record bag will be making the trip to Italy alongside equally wonderful selectors and Cartulis regulars Junki Inoue and VASS. Joining the London-based crew will be Jacopo from REM Records, Just For Fun resident Analog Disease, and taking care of the home team will be Denise Luzzi.

While the opening party will celebrate the birthday of 2Lovers team member Danilo, there will be even more to celebrate across the season. The next party will take place on Saturday 12th December, and this will be a Christmas Gathering like no other. Following that will be the first event of 2027, taking place on 23rd January; this will act as 2Lovers’ 4th birthday, and we are certain there will be many highlights across this weekend. For both events in December and January, they will be collaborating with two different culinary collectives made up of young, passionate food enthusiasts. They’ll be creating special food and wine experiences designed to bring people together before the party, encourage new connections, and strengthen the bond between our community and the artists.

On Saturday 13th March 2Lovers will be powering the first anniversary of “Girlz”, which is an independent female-forward concept conceived by team member Denise Luzzi. For this event, they will be creating a concept built around an electronic lounge. The first part of the event will focus on bringing people together, featuring a dinner prepared by a female chef, interactive activities, art installations, a market, and carefully curated listening music. As the night progresses, the lounge will gradually transform into a club, with an all-female DJ lineup featuring artists from around the world. There will also be a dedicated wellness area offering massages and muscle recovery treatments. 2Lovers’ goal is to create an experience that goes beyond a traditional party, bringing together music, art, culture, wellness, and meaningful moments of connection.

For the closing party on 30th April – 1st May, the team are remaining tight-lipped for now, but we rest assured that there will be plenty to discuss when the time is right. With the party straddling a national public holiday, they will be taking advantage of the high spirits and extended downtime period.
