Since their launch in 2018 Leeds party Magnetic has always looked to attract the finest in underground names. From beginnings at city staple Distrikt through to booking the likes of Laidlaw, Derek Carr, Reiss, Prichindel, Dragutesku and recently Sublee Magnetic have always had their finger on the pulse. For their next party, they have something truly special in the making and it will all be going down at Eiger Studios on Saturday, April 9th.
The adopted creative space of Eiger Studio will again be bathed in the visual talents of Club der Visionaere talent Trig Fardust where the stage will be elevated for the combined efforts of UVAR label heads Nu Zau and Sepp. The pairing of these two singularly excellent artists known as EPAU has long been a fixture at the finest parties around the world and while they regularly perform under their own names there is seldom a set under the guise of EPAU.
It feels like hardly a day goes by where we are not witnessing either Sepp or Nu Zau tearing a dancefloor a new one with their emotive yet tightly programmed Dj sets or there is a hot new release from either of them. Regulars on the UK scene they have both hit a fine balance between push and pull and performances range from genius to sublime and rarely anywhere else. There is more good news as EPAU will have a healthy five hours in which to mystify and impress. As always resident Mitch will be on hand to supply the early grooves but with him knocking it out of the park at the last Magnetic party this is no warmup set.
