Syrian-born, Dutch-based Fafi Abdel Nour is an artist who has ensured that his roots are never compromised in favour of external trends. With a tour schedule to match his impeccable selection skills, Fafi will be appearing at a fine curation of clubs and festivals across Europe this summer that include Dekmantel, Lost Village, Orbit Festival, and previously tINI and the Gang, Robert Johnson, Tomorrowland, and Montreux Jazz Festival.
Recorded during an extended session with Power Dance Club at Kreuzwerk, Fafi keeps the pressure up in the Greenhouse area with a set that bristles with peak-time house energy. Deep percussive jams segue easily into filtered house gems, all the while being peppered with sultry vocal loops. The result is an intense journey through a myriad of house-centric paths and byways.
