With Love Records prepares for its next audio adventure with the arrival of their third digital EP. Having welcomed the talents of Leon, Luca Donzelli, Lucio, and Soundopamine on the first release and David Gtronic on the second. Now, it is the turn of label founder Giovanni Savoca to take charge of the sounds alongside Danush and Mennie on the remix.
Taking pride of place on this fine digital release is “Transmit” and this is as high an energy house music as you can wish for. Upfront pounding drums lead out before the in your face bassline comes crashing in. There are no intricate drum patterns required, straight to business and full impact is where this excels. Sinister synth inserts temper the otherwise uptempo vibe here and this stays with the track throughout giving a great contrast.
The second of the EP’s two originals from Danush and Giovanni Savoca is just as full on and “Commiunicate” leans heavily on the expertly crafted basslines that fills the sonic spectrum. The acid lines and blown out synth tones that lie over the top of this bass action really layers up the energy no end. Moving on to the last track on the release is Italian artist Mennie’s remix of “Communicate” and the tempo is pushed a fair bit on this reworking. Not that this is a bad thing, quite the opposite. Squelching acid drips off the track and popping snares really crack in the right directionand that is straight up.
