Ukrainian hitmaker Roma Khropko is going back to Trommel with another stunning release on Silias Records. With Bosko Balos on remix duties, we’re excited to hear from both today.
“To The End (Bosko Balos Pirate Mix)” has quickly become one of my favorites in the “deep bangers” category. It boasts a superb groove and killer bassline, with all the elements working seamlessly at an ideal pace. On the surface, it sounds like your regular banging track, but it has something extra beneath. The press release described it as “pulsating”—and I wholeheartedly agree.
What about the original? Without Bosko Balos’ touch, “To The End” is much rawer, with some breakbeat in the background adding depth. “Big Nose,” the release opener, kicks off with a massive buzzing bassline before incorporating hip-hop elements (or perhaps even rave elements) later on. Meanwhile, “Eagle Strike” is the noisiest of the bunch, and it’s easy to see why it already received a lot of love from some superstars over the summer. It’s tailor-made for big crowds and has the potential for even more airplay this autumn.
