20 years anniversary is something, right? For a track. Hard to believe, but “August In Paris” by Jen Cardini & Shonky stays on the dancefloors since 2006. It’s time to do a little renovation, right? (with huge respect to the original, of course)
We have three new versions here on Jen’s Correspondant, and we’re most interested in Jump Source’s one. Staying with the original’s gloomy/melancholic (or just non-distractive) mood, it adds just a pinch of buzz that sounds as perfect in 2026 as it would in 2006.
There are two more here. A bit more pacier by Jennifer Loveless (those mini-scratches, aww!) and a bit more banging one by Kasra V. And, of course, the original one is also included in this pack.
Easily a choice for a reissue of a year. You can grab vinyl already at Redeye, Deejay, Yoyaku, or any other good record store. And see y’all in 2046, I guess?
