In the last few years Manchester has been taken by storm by the Animal Crossing crew. From their earlier off site parties to the game changing Summer of Love festival in August and their recent Halloween blow out AC just keep levelling up. Perhaps one of their defining moments has been the opening of their very own venue in The Loft. Having already hosted sets from Francesco Del Garda, Petre Inspirescu, Evan Baggs B2B Quest, Mihai Pol, Cap, the list goes on and that’s just some of the artists that play during November.
Of course, they will never forget their pop up roots and will again be heading back to the fabled Citroen showroom that saw the legendary rave between AC and Infuse back in July. This time around the showroom will be transformed into a 70’s motel funk and suitably groove packed line up. Heading up the showroom will be French trio Apollonia and the combined gems from Dan Ghenacia, Shonky and Dyed Soundorom will be given a massive 6 hour set to flex their digging super powers. Also on the bill will be vibe specialists Hamish & Toby, Christian AB and AC’s talisman Olli Ryder.
With barely enough time to rearrange restock the bar at The Loft they head over to their second home at The Loft on Friday, December 3rd where the controls will be handed over to RA + RE. The girls will be taking over for an evening of the finest house and techno and bringing the party will be Sugar Free B2B Charlotte, Ethel and Melody.
The very next night there will be yet another extended set from a legend of our scene and that Romanian goes by the name of Raresh. His performances are a constant source of inspiration and draws the biggest plaudits at the likes of UNUM, Epizode, Sunwaves, and Caprices Festival to name just a few. Garage, house, techno, minimal, as long as it bangs then Raresh has it in his record bag. Being able to catch the RPR man in such an intimate venue there is no chance on earth this party won’t be going in the history books. Preparing the floor for this special night will be AC regular R.O.Y.
With 2021 being a massive turn up for the books Animal Crossing start 2022 the way they finished the last year and that is firing on all cylinders. New Year’s Day is always a special session and given their track record AC have again come up with the goods. Taking control of The Loft will be an impressive selection of artists that revel in the close quarters that the venue provides. Making the trip to Manchester for the 16-hour NYD marathon will be Brawther, D’Julz, Truly Madly, Hamish & Toby, Reeshy, Olli Ryder B2B Bowes B2B Joey Jackson and R.O.Y. B2B Faze.
