The November showcase marks a transition to the larger warehouse venue, following the closure of System’s frequent home Mint Club back in February. Spread across three spaces, the main room welcomes Seth Troxler and Shonky for extended sets, with Sensoramic boss Laura Jones sharing the booth with System resident Annie Errez.
Bobby O’Donnell’s imprint E-Numbers host the upstairs loft space, inviting Subsequent boss Voigtmann after his split EP with the label head back in August. A new collaborative project between Bobby and Zutekh resident Quixano as The Molecule due to release on the imprint will also feature with a back to back set, as well as a solo set from O’Donnell.
Local crew Fifty Fifty conclude the bill, taking over the outside boiler room area with their residents playing all night long.
Soon approaching their 12th year in the game, System has been Mint’s flagship outfit for pushing a minimal driven palate over the years. Regular appearances from the likes of Ricardo Villalobos and many of the Romanian roster has been commonplace between the two Leeds venues.
2020 welcomes a transitional period for the Yorkshire collective, after bidding farewell to the 20-year-old Mint Club and hosting the final ever Cocoon In The Park earlier this year, new pastures awaiting moving forward starting with a refurbishment of Mint Warehouse coming soon.
