In advance of our LATAM tour date in Brazil’s Curitiba, we shine a light on one of the residents who will be helping to shape the sonic landscape at By All Means. Beyond this regular event series, Berbo keeps it moving with his other projects: the imprint Whatever Records and the community listening event Escuta. Incredibly, Ber Bonet even finds time to bring his own audio ideas into this world, and this is the mode that we currently find him in.
This week on our Free Download, we have an outright party-starting bomb from Ber Bonet and “Everyone is Dead” is a killer. Robust grooves are the name of the game from the outset, as the focus is firmly on the trippy vocals. Once these fall away, the arpeggiating bassline and detuned bass tone reveal themselves, which does a lot of the heavy lifting to great effect. In an electro techno meets electro clash fashion, there is a lot to get excited about here as Ber Bonet presents a tough yet emotive track that will most definitely stand out in any set.
