The third installment of the Tbilisi-based SATZ label, as I was told, is a blend of some breaks, the 80s sound, italo, and tech-house, has the names of Yu, Rupert Marnie inside, and was supported by tINI, Raphael Carrau, Tunik, Giammarco Orsini already. But enough of namedropping, let’s check the tracks.
Starting with the last one on this 3-tracker, “Bright Head” by Yate from Ukraine. Just was thinking recently that we’re not having enough of electro here on the premieres section, I think. And this track comes perfectly in time. Calm beginning, that transforms into another fine roller. Fun till the last second. Perfection!
“Infinity” by Yu probably, should lean into that italo territory, we’ve been promised before (btw, there were no talks about the electro at the beginning, weird). If you need a good synthy tune with some good bass – that should be your option here. Rupert Marnie with his “Time To Go” takes us into some trippy zone of goofiness. Stripped-down mayhem we’re having here, and, believe me, you’re gonna listen to this track more than once (I did three times).
The record should be out soon – why not go to your usual pre-orders section on Juno, Deejay, Decks, or any other good record store, right?
