Regular face to these pages, Marc Satseg and his Spaceless Records have been a constant source of spacey, electro bombs. He now presents a star-studded VA that offers up reworkings of some of his own tracks by some esteemed guests. This also marks the opening of his label to other artists, and with the calibre of the names on this release, 2025 is set to be a great year.
We head straight to track eleven, where we find Marc’s “That’s Right” being given the treatment by Alex Dittrich. Full throttle from the outset, Alex uses snappy snares with enough power to launch a spaceship. Soaring synths elevate the track beyond the rocking breakbeats. Besides our focus track, there are plenty of highlights to be found across this stacked VA and from more than a few faces that you will recognise.
Certainly not limited to, but first up is Jamahr’s remix of “Information” and his deep, techy rolling style fits perfectly with the source material. Grinding basslines and peak grooves mark this as one to ensure that you grab on release day. Paolo Mosca also makes an appearance with an epic re-rub of “Take This Gun”, while TC80 takes on “Volta”. “We Love You” benefits from a pair of remixes courtesy of rising star Hamdi Ryder, who turns in an excellent reworking, as does Prince de Takardie in his imitable acid house style.
