Marc Satseg continues a fine streak of releases, reaching his 19th EP on his label Spaceless Records. Since his label’s inception in 2020, the iconic Belgian producer showed unwavering consistency and released banger after banger in his signature cosmic style and gained well-deserved recognition for his hard work.
We swim through waves of sound with “Pain Killer”, a charming, club-ready track laced with hollowed-out seductive vocals at every turn. The track explores a multitude of textures and sounds, catering to any reputable venue. Pulsating rhythms and electrifying synths shape and contour the track, offering a glimpse into Satseg’s captivating sonic universe.
The EP’s title track, “My Mind Loves to Wander”, takes a more mystifying, almost surreal path, wrapped in haunting vocals and hypnotizing sounds. With a title as suggestive as it gets, the track takes us on a mystical journey that branches into two versions: the original, laced with narrating vocals, and the instrumental version.
“Together We Are One” delves into darker, alien-like territories, showcasing female vocals that sound as coming from the speakers of a spacecraft, guiding us on a one-of-a-kind cosmic journey. Ascending synths and machine-like pads mark the track’s leitmotif.
Closing out the EP is “Let The Music Overwhelm You”, a velvety all-nighter infused with punchy drumbeats and infectious rhythms, perfectly suited for the rawness and shadowy depths of any given industrial Berlin venue.
