Supervibe Music brings super vibes again with their 26th release. With a wealth of releases behind them featuring the likes of Alexis Cabrera, Ray Mono, Valeria Croft, Medu and many other quality artists, it’s safe to say they know the score.
This release welcomes a collaborative effort from 3 artists who are no stranger to Supervibe, as Ruven Medici, Moruki and Memed Awad return to the label, the latter two of whom have already released a silky smooth collab EP on there. The consequent works from the trio resulted in a culmination of studio prowess, creative flair and a shared vision seeing itself take shape in musical form across their “Space Gelato EP”.
The EP kicks off with titular track, “Space Gelato”, which hears solid tech house grooves form on the bass and drums, the bass then develops in tandem with an otherworldly jam that ignites spacey keys, keeping things crazy, building for some top moments.
Track 2. “Bodies Synchronised” delves deep as hypnotic vocals take the spot on the mainstage as they offer up synergetic imperatives. This track is structured in such a way that it delivers simple elements in a tantalising way that leaves the listener instantly hooked.
Engines thrust and soldier on in “Keep Going”, driven by a lo-slung bassline whilst a storm of space-age weaponry fires heavy rounds as the percussion and plucks come in check.
“Unpredicted groove” does exactly that, and a whole lot more! Grooves meander and snake as they embody alien-like, serpentine rhythms. Skippy percussion and siren’s-call-type melodies seal the deal, top bit of tackle right there!
