Egyptian artist Ramez, who is well known for his live performances, was also featured in our recent On Site feature from PlayHaus. By his own admission, he does not limit himself to just one genre, but instead to a collection of feelings and emotions. This has clearly benefited him greatly, as he has appeared on a range of labels such as MINDHELMET, Karnak On Acid and OPAL Milan.
It is this multi-genre approach that informs his addition to our Free Download series, and his track “Mirage” is a culmination of many parts. Robust techno-leaning grooves, electro-informed basslines, and deeper electronics converge here to produce an ethereal piece of work worthy of Ramez’ growing stature in the underground community.
