London collective XTD for sure have their favourites. Those favourites happen to be our favourites, and the same can be said for many others. The Romanian flavour is often celebrated at some of the most sought out events in the English capital, but rarely do we get to see champions of the sound playing for the best part of the night.
XTD events are few and far between, typically scheduling two parties per year. Quality here reigns over quantity. Something that is plentiful, however so is the duration of play by the artists on the invite. At the previous session it was Rominimal kingpin Rhadoo who featured for an all night long extravaganza. Eight hours at the controls of one of London’s finest, Fold.
For the next, we see the return of Praslesh, taking it from midnight until close at Hackney Wick’s No90 Live and with this space having recently benefited from a huge D&B upgrade the fillings in your mouth will be tested thats for sure. The duo have come to own this side of the XTD calendar, an injection of fire in the last weeks of Winter. Both are prolific artists in their own right. But together, the pair bring with them a synergy of sound that celebrates a scene they themselves continue to lead. Those deep bass grooves of Praslea come complemented by the insatiable melodies of Raresh. And with six hours to play with and decades worth of primely selected catalogue behind them, it’s set to be a well worthy ride. This will also be one of only two London Praslesh shows and in the 500 capacity space of Number 90 Live this is set to be an especially intimate rave for the books. Support comes in from ToiToi’s Gabriel Rai.
Catch Praslesh at No90 Live on Friday 17th February and as per, the generous crew at XTD have already planned for the afters at Starlane Pizza Bar with guests yet to be announced bar Ben Jones. Just make sure you make a move on the tickets as they are already down to their final release.
