One of the marquee events of the year is back on the Swiss slopes of the Crans-Montana this April and Caprices Festival have announced their full program. The festival will again be taking place across two weekends and as always, they have the full spectrum of the electronic music world well covered.
The first weekend will take place between April 8th and April 10th while the second weekend will cover April 15th to April 17th. Across the three dance areas Modernity, Signal and Forest there will be an artist for most tastes with notable additions on April 8th being the Signal stage which will play host to Archie Hamilton, Cassy, Giorgio Maulini and Guti (live). Return will host the madness at the Forest stage with Digby, Eli Verveine, and Fumiya Tanaka while the weekend closing party at the Forest Stage on April 10th will be taken care of by Apoteoz, and Canadians Mathew Jonson and Mike Shannon.
While weekend 1 is clearly not to be missed, there is even more highlights across each day of the festival. The first day of the festival on April 15th and they don’t get much bigger than an extended B2B from the Chilean pairing of Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos in the infamous Modernity Glasshouse with warmup from Roman. Elsewhere, Sven Vath will return this time to headline the Signal Stage alongside Dana Ruh. The Cocoon magnate will also perform an extended set so there is a firm suspicion that his set will be jam packed full of bangers from across his sound palette. Completing that day’s magic will see Yoyaku host the Forest Stage with sets from team members Charlotte, Janaret b2b Varhat, and Lamache.
The next day is just as special with the Modernity stage playing host to RPR Soundystem with the all-important warmup from Caprices resident James Mc Hale. Alci, Madnax (Live) and SIT (Cristi Cons & Vlad Caia) will be in charge of closing the Forest Stage on April 16th with the official closing party taking place there the next day with Dune, Jay Fase, and Norman Weber of Luna City Express. As well as the obvious music and snow based activities Caprices Festival will also be the site of an NFT / Metaverse technology summit. In conjunction with festival partners Swissborg according to festival organisers, “be bringing together artists, technologists, crypto companies and the public to immerse themselves into NFT/block chain world.”
