Sunny Side Festival reveal the first artists joining their 2024 edition

Sunny Side Festival is the new project heading to the Mediterranean island of Malta.

Heading over to the blissful coast, the festival will run from May 17-19th with a carefully curated lineup invited to soundtrack the breathtaking backdrop. The list of promoters invited to curate has already been announced, featuring London party starters Half Baked, Dutch tastemakers SlapFunk and the legendary Dungeon Meat duo.

Phase one of Sunny Side 2024 reveals a refreshing collection of selections. Raresh and Sonja Moonear will bring their uplifting stain of stripped-back house music. Legend of the game Magda brings her bag of surprises, as well as sets from Panorama Bar resident Prosumer, Tomas Station, XBD and Edward.

The first wave of artists reveals the festival’s versatile and unique tastes, combining various worlds of house and techno. Tristan Da Cunha and Brawther will showcase their long-standing Dungeon Meat project, plus SlapFunk’s Doudou MD and a live set from Aline Umber.

Sunny Side will spread across two stages, allowing for promoters to curate their own magic at the stages, alongside a range of local talent. More artists will be announced over the coming months.

The two main stages are designed to let the surrounding nature breathe, complimenting the stunning surrounding environment. “Treehaus” and “Tropicana” are the two main open-air stages, shrouded by trees overspilling from Malta’s national park. Music will also feature at the local Tortuga Beach where sunsets reach a blissful peak.

Tickets are already 60% sold out with early birds starting at an attractive €75. Buy tickets for Sunny Side 2024 here.
