Andrew G. Renew launches a new project and delivers a fresh three tracker EP for the first release, showcasing all his talent.
To kick things off on the A side, Andrew presents us the EP title-track “Dark Memories”, composed with a variety of soft pads, giving a deep house feel to the cut, yet slowly building up the pace with its rolling bassline and minimal kicks.
We then move on to “Sweet Resurrection”, featuring an ascending dreamy synth complemented by plenty of rhythmic hi’s, a smooth bassline and punchy kicks.
To finish off this debut release, Andrew takes a different path for the B-side, presenting “Bomb Secrets”. Composed a variety of hard kicks, yet implementing a loopy broken structure to complement them. He then picks up the pace further with a hearty amount of stabs and a growling-like bass.
