The mysterious, Berlin based Easy Latinos crew that is composed of Clemente Nomas, Aka.norepress, and Juan Ferreyra are currently gearing up for their first vinyl release. Before they drop that they have the digital-only “AterricemosLasIDeas” EP from the trio.
Leading out the EP is “F#ckinOrdnungsamt” and from the outset there is an impressive air of mystery that emanates from within. Waning synths echo from the top down adding even more depth to the piano stabs that are soon joined by elongated synths and repeated bells. These combined elements result in a finely weighted track that is capable of great things in the right hands.
Next is “ElTemaQueSape” and continuing in a similar vein as the previous electro tinged direction see’s amped up energy levels, bigger kicks and much more grit to the synth work. Arpeggiated basslines and acid lines work together with soaring strings to produce an uplifting number of moments through the runtime of the track.
“EndlicherTermin” firms up these themes further with an almighty acid synth motif that grows and evolves through the track. “LiebeFrauNetto” resets these moods somewhat, but in its place a focused piece of forlorn electronica that although is more thoughtful that the previous tracks is full of succinct attitude and unwavering dynamics. Completing the EP is “AterricemosLasIdeas” and the switch to full power is well and truly flicked back on. The raucous synth stabs hint at a shift in pace and would be welcomed in any set looking for the next gear.
