Premiere: B1 – Emi Ömar – Zenro [VS007]

Velvet Spirit returns to our premieres section with a killer release, made by two hitmen, Latent and our today’s guest, Emi Ömar (also welcoming back to the website).

“Zenro” starts lightly, balancing on the edge of a chill French touch piece with some female sexy vocals and something more aggressive, with a bit more dirty bassline and distorted, almost robotic vocals. Some light chords still push us into the light side.

“Something Wrong” is a bit slower, which somehow makes it more aggressive than our main premiere. But just for a bit, nothing crucial. “Mr. Underground” by Latent on the opening EP duties has a little Easter egg inside, called Henriku on the vocals. You probably know that you should expect a new interesting story over a dizzy bassline. “Groove Rhythm Machine” stays with the bassline, just changing the story for the more robotic vocals.

Everything feels just in style of Velvet Spirit. You can grab your copy at Yoyaku already, by the way.
