Trommel.241 – Carl H

UK based artist Carl H has long become a staple of the London electro house and techno scene. With regular appearances in the city’s finest booths such as Art of Dark, Lion & Lamb, and Cartullis make him an invaluable element of the underground community. Further afield, Carl is in just as high demand and already has a stacked summer schedule on the cards with dates confirmed for Omana Festival, Dias De Campo, as well as club based outings at UMI, Queens Yard Summer Party, and Superliminal at Berlin’s Sonnenraum.

Harnessing the weird and wonderful is par for the course for the Animals on Psychedelics founder as his mix for our podcast series will proudly attest. Recorded live at Evasion Festival, from the outset, without fanfare, Carl gets right down to business with the kind face melting synth focused trax that have ensured he remains on the lips of ravers and promoters alike. Bridging the gap between 90s house and techno, proggy house with an electro flip, and all with the crackle and pops that clarify that these tracks are from the archives of a serious digger.
