The ninth vinyl release of French label Zingiber Audio features Madrid-based producer Lose Endz with Iron Island EP. As a new playground for his raw sounds, the label makes room for four tracks between deep, minimal, and acid. Summer oriented, all the EP gives off good vibes with its strong contagious energy. Surely one to put in your next open-air set.
The A-side features the original track Iron Island and a remix crafted by Alessio Viggiano. A strong catchy bassline opens up the EP while a deep sunny melody slightly leaches among beats, nicely balanced between soothing and motivating. Little by little a smooth hint of acid is added and the mix eventually leads to a happy and emotional climax.
Analog DJ and producer, Lose Endz lets creativity take over surrounded by drum machines and old synthesizers. When he is not jamming in the studio, you can find him around Spain sharing decks with other talented artists such as Robin Ordell, Fabe, Nu Zau or Felipe Bravo. As part of the rising generation of Spanish’s electronic scene and leading producer, Lose Endz is surely one to keep an eye on.
His last release comes up on Zingiber Audio, a label born in 2011 in Lyon and led by Thibault Corsant also know as COR100. Seeking for new tones and mixing textures, it was hardly surprising that these two collaborate together. So far, the label opened its doors to more than 30 artists including Politics of Dancing, Jedsa Doundorom or Thomas Roland to name a few.
