Having averaged roughly one Data Memory Access performance a month since they launched their explosive live set almost two years ago, when you consider the solo careers of members Jacopo Latini and Giammarco Orsini as well as recording commitments that is not bad going. In that time, as well as the blockbusting club and festival appearances they have also somehow found the time to pen some outrageously good EP’s. These have found homes on Craigie Knowes, Mood Waves, Bosconi Records, Picnic Records, and now they have launched their own imprint to critical acclaim with the “Dataverse” EP.
The future is clearly bright for this pairing, and with each artist already having and continuing to enjoy sterling solo careers, there is always going to be a high level of anticipation when it comes to a DMA performance. The fact that there are no full, official recordings of DMA online only goes to make this exclusive podcast all the more special. We do no need to introduce each of the artists or their joint project much more than this, as I think the music will say all that needs to be said. Enjoy the next 70 minutes of high octane, vocoded house music.
