Argentinian Ernesto Ferreyra is a bit of a renaissance man in minimal circles, or rather he is part of a group of renaissance men. His releases stretch back to the mid-’00s and since launching his recording career on Mutek_Rec no less he has graced the top forward-thinking imprints of the time. Names such as Cynosure, Thema, Cadenza litter his early discography and all just in his given name.
He does of course have many names that he might be known as such as Chic Miniature, Fresno, Ferreler and of course there is his record label Loosen Up. Harnessing the many shades of Ernesto’s musical output Loosen Up also makes its home at one of minimal’s Berlin home Club der Visionaere. These sessions are legendary and with Ernesto at the helm what else could they be? For a slice of this magic we have invited Ernesto to mix our latest podcast edition and if you close your eyes and cast your mind far and wide you could almost be dancing on the wooden decking by the famous weeping willow…
