Around the Europe party heads and festival goers await May 1st like it is Christmas Day. The reason for this (amongst others) is that it signifies the beginning of Spring and as such, it means the beginning of open-air season. For the minimal community, it is also the pivotal point in one of the most important events of the year Sunwaves Festival. As we are all aware the Spring edition has been postponed until June 25th, but in the meantime the kind folk at SUNRISE and Kristal Club have arranged a 24-hour stream party so that you can still get your Crazy Beach fix.
Taking place at Sunrise HQ – Sunrise HUB the action will begin at 10pm (UTC+3) and will cover a lot of musical ground during the 24-hour event. Kicking things off will be Mahony and he will be followed by Seth Troxler, Paco Osuna, Dubfire, Maher Daniel, Sonja Moonear, Priku, Gescu b2b Arapu (14-17), Raresh (17-19), Cap and Mihigh will close up proceedings. With Sunrise HUB playing host to several editions already the platform they provide is an impressive use of their outstanding facilities.
Also, joining in on the stream action is Goa’s NOZOO and Berlin-based agency Roof Booking and naturally, they have an equally belting line-up arranged for their event on Friday, May 1st. Starting at 4pm CEST the collective will present sets from Christian AB b2b Quest, Domenico Rosa, Max Vaahs, Evan Baggs, Giammarco Orsini, Marcolino, and Orli. Running at 2 locations Roof Bookings will be taking control of the sound system and airwaves from their Berlin bolthole KMA60, their Rome home turf will be covered by Marcolino who will be spinning from his Ultrasuoni Record Store, Orli from his terrace and Domenico Rosa will be coming live from his studio. Completing a fine weekend of streaming goodness is the newly minted IN / OUT Festival. Taking place over the weekend of May 1st to May 3rd this weekender GRADED TV be taking over Romanian creative space Expirat Halele Carol and will feature 2 stages that will be transmitting for 12 hours each day of the weekend. Presenting local talent and nurturing the local scene in the face of the current climate is the main focus of this event and over the course of the weekend there will be sets from Alt Om, Ana Satana, Bogman, D. Rusu, DJ Vasile, Eirwud Mudwasser, Filipp, Kosta, Luger, Miss I, Moss Farai, Nipple’s Delight, Paul Popa, Personne b2b Alexandru Jijian, Phil Cocks & Meelouna Polochord, Romansoff, Scoro, TCFC, Utopus, and Vlad Dobrescu completes the lineup. As well as the outstanding array of artists and ensured great music the venue that this will all be taking place is truly a gem in the Romanian venue crown and the backdrop in place is set to be one not to miss.
