Voigtmann is heading to San Diego as part of his US tour. Locking into an undisclosed location in downtown San Diego, the Music Is 4 Lovers collective has a special showcase planned.
Many of the US underground scenes are known for their unique parties in disused and secretive locations, popping up unique events with selectors from all over the globe. Music Is 4 Lovers is a collective pushing club culture in various forms via their online magazine, record label and events company.
Their recent outings have featured local legends such as Gene Farris and Chklte, building a community of like-minded music lovers with frequent midweek and weekend events. They also recently hosted Romanian mainstay Sepp and Halo. Taking a refreshingly old-school approach, the location of venues is sent to ticket holders only on the day of the event, bringing a level of excitement and mystery to their curations.
Voigtmann’s signature sound is the perfect fit for the crew’s tastes in stripped-back house music. Fresh from his second full-length album for the legendary 20/20 Vision label, you can be sure he is brimming with bombs of his productions, plus his very sought-after record bag.
Whether he’s making music for the VO1GT.M4S project shared with John Dimas, touring the world or writing a full-length LP, Claus Voigtmann is a prolific force in these circles. Combining his multifaceted world of sound design and experimental shades of electronic music with a contagious peak-time energy, the vibe of Voigtmann sets is something truly unique.
