Half Baked make the most of Halloween with a London double header

Halloween is just a few weeks away. An excuse to get dressed up, scare your neighbours and remember the dead. It also makes for an important fixture in the clubbing calendar, an even greater excuse to have it large on the dance floor. Half Baked have been making the most of the festive occasion for the best part of a decade. This year’s offering is as juicy as ever.

The Half Baked collective have been an integral part of the London scene and beyond. They make for a regular fixture across continents, from infamous Off Week parties to the frequent label showcases held at Club de Visonare.

First on the list for the Halloween special is the genius that is John Dimas, the man behind Elephant Moon. The French artist is no stranger to serving up the goods at Half Baked, not only direct from the booth but across the label waves and all. He is well and truly part of the HB family and there aren’t many who’s sound is quite so synonymous with the party that is hosting.

Coming in hot on the HB London debut is Franziska Berns. Berns has been warming up the Robert Johnson dance floor for over ten years. After a stand out session (listen here) at a previous Half Baked / Killing Time collab last year, it’s no surprise to see her back with the crew.

Of course, ever present resident Robin Ordell will be spinning for the occasion, ready to set a spooky tone fired with the stripped back grooves for which he is known. The lineup becomes complete with bloop main man Cruz (PT) and there will be ample time for all to get properly stuck in over the eighth hour soirée. And if that wasn’t enough, when it finishes at 6am, the partly will promptly continue at one of the finest afters spots in the city – Star Lane Pizza Bar. Prepare for a big one this All Hallows Eve.
