Not wasting any time or pulling any punches, Federico D’Anchini heads straight to the peak time hours with the sleek groover “Elements”. Punchy percussion and a wandering fluted synth drive this track throughout to great effect and will surely keep most floors locked in for the duration. The addition of a circling paddy atmosphere helps to keep an air of class while the heavy-hitting grooves take care of business.
Completing the package is the dubby rhythms of “Into This Thing”, and most house heads will immediately recognise the vocal sample here, but the smart sampling takes the vocal in a slightly different direction. With echoes of the fluted synths found on “Elements”, the EP is all tied together nicely in a neat 1-2 punch for the digital jocks.
