A new label is always an interesting thing, especially when it’s showcasing somebody you already know. DUST is a project of two Lithuanians, Karolis Urbonavicus (also known as Trippsy) and Titas Tumosa (also known as just Tumosa).
Already showcased at Brave! Factory Festival in Kyiv this year (and being one of the best live shows of the first day there), so somebody may already know what to expect. To all others, today’s track is a perfect example of their sound. “Oh Yea” is one of those dark but versatile tracks that could be used almost in any type of set (from minimal to… maximal?).
That was the A2. And the record (and the history of the label) starts with “OG”. A bit more groovy track with some lovely psycho voices in the back and even some drips of acid. “Downtown Owl” kinda like explores their deep side, but with all those bleeps and super heavy kicks anyways. Finally, “The Spirit”, the last one on the record, is something for the lovers of broken beats.
