“New Toy” on the A-side is one of those buzzing modern electro-house tracks that you might hear frequently on Trommel these days. In a time of overproduction, the key is staying interesting—and this track achieves that with its moderate tempo.
“Frog Eats Frog,” the EP opener, is a stripped-down banger with a trippier edge than usual. “Continue Respirando” follows suit but with a faster BPM. “Spade” closes the EP with an aggressive downtempo track, a sharp contrast to the others.
