You’re all loved Abdul Raeva, now it’s time to love their other alias – Gearmaster, which lands on the new label Slipdisc Recordings today.
“Skyhand” like the whole EP, is a perfect example of their signature sound – a bit progressive, a bit trancey, always dancefloor-orientated and bigroom-krafted. The main thing for the upcoming festival season.
The record starts with “No Lights”: the track, which is maybe not THAT pacey, but still delivers, mainly because of the chords and repetitive vocals. “Amnesia” from the start of the B-side with its touch of acid and the looooong siren on the drop also sends us straight to the biggest crowds on the dancing planet. Finally, “6 Angle Dub” does everything mentioned above, but in a bit more dreamy way.
I wish we had more 4-trackers like this: ready to jump into any summer bag of records. It could be yours – if you’ll jump on Juno, Deejay, or Decks and reserve your copy.
