Ukrainian Fib Records started with a 2-tracker; now they have a 6-tracker with a newcomer, DeeAitch.
“Langhor” opens the B-side of the release with a heavy buzz, a typical style that could be associated with labels and/or producers from Kyiv lately. Nothing extra heavy here, just something to tickle your ears for a bit.
“Tadarida” on B2 maybe doesn’t even buzz, but purrs on top of some electro beats. “Barbastella” goes even more Detroit-y with its own rhythms and atmosphere.
On the A-side, we are starting with “Abendsegler”, a spooky piece that sets the tone for the release perfectly. “Desmodus” brings everything a little back (laid back). “Noctillo” does even more, being the chillest one on the release.
Easily to say that this FIB won’t stay on the shelves for a very long time, so you can go to Juno, Deejay, or One Eye Witness already and demand your copy of this one.

This article was written in Ukraine. Ukraine is in the middle of the war with Russia right now. Would be great if you could donate to the biggest Ukrainian volunteer fund here. Also, you can pick any music initiative, that is also trying to help from our list here. We’ll be stronger together.
