Berlin-based Kalmar Records begins its history with Ukrainian Yansima and a very powerful first track on this inaugural release, which we’re going to present to you today.
The groove of “Basskickball” will catch you almost from the first second. Some gangsta vocal cuts inside will do only additional damage here.
“Catchplay”, if we need to compare, is a more minimalistic one, but its groove is almost as banging as in the A1. “Onse Dansa” is venturing into broken-beat territory on the B-side. Seems to be the light one, but don’t forget about the grooves on Kalmar. Finally, “Stylish Steps” works as an outro. A very stylish one, must say, for all the downtempo lovers.
