Returning for their third output after two sold-out releases during last year, Beeyou continue with three lean garage-tinged house cuts, running fast since their first establishment in Ibiza few months back.
The nostalgic sounding-bliss of Xhz’s debut contribution to the label fills the A1. Heard multiple times across the Sunwaves marathon, Beeyou’s premiered track ‘Jazz 2 Jazz’ has seen support from Romanian royalty in the likes of both [a:rpia:r] and Petre Inspirescu solo set, among others. Pinned by neat percussion, gentle grooves cast a crisp and airy atmosphere, caressing a moreish bassline.
Soft chords blossom amongst a palate of samples, from French vocals to jazz guitars, a sea of feel-good flavours gradually surface across the 11-minute arrangement, lathered in angelic reverbs. Subtle hi-hat movements carry the track, encouraging a submissive listen through structured repetition, the slick, polished sounds make for dance floor gold.
UK Manchester man Jake Flory continues the blissful state on the B side, endorsed by SIT again during Sunwaves. Offering two delicate moods littered with introspective modular jams, 14th Groove leans on a garage tip, with B2’s ‘Distress’ exploring darker territories.
The record is out on 20th May 2019, which has been declared by no coincidence “World Bee Day“ by United Nations General Assembly back in 2017. Purchase your copy at Juno and in all other good record stores.
