One of the best producers in garage meets one of the best voices in garage (and house in general too, I would say). Yura SE62 has “the best drop since MLIU landings”, as I already saw in some comments on the web. And to be honest, I wouldn’t disagree much.
“Fantasy (feat. Javonntte)” is that perfect type of vocal garage house we don’t hear much these days. Sexy and hard-kicking at the same time. Despite the very mellow performance by Javonntte I still can imagine it in a full-packed club in the middle of the night (like Closer in its best times), than some morning. The bassline here doesn’t let you forget about its banging possibilities. And the voice – it’s Javonntte, what else could you expect? Legendary level.
Going a few hours to the morning side, because “The Moon Will Smile All Night” is another perfect example of a last track in some hard-banging nighty set. “Let’s Go Dance” is a bit of a raw piece, again, with totally destroying kicks and some stripped-down vocoders. And last but not least, “Planet Vibe” takes us to some very sexy territory with those “oos” and “aahs” on a garage base.
As Yura told me, it is, probably, the most meaningful EP for him, because it’s very hard to write something nowadays, during the war in Ukraine, at the same time, the EP was written very quickly, in those rare moments of inspiration. The release should be everywhere in September, starting from Raw Soul’s Bandcamp, you better don’t miss it!

This article was written in Ukraine. Ukraine is in the middle of the war with Russia right now. Would be great if you could donate to the biggest Ukrainian volunteer fund here. Also, you can pick any music initiative, that is also trying to help from our list here. We’ll be stronger together.
