Yoyaku to open second Parisian record store in Chapelle XIV

The Parisian record label and highly acclaimed record store has established itself as a firm fixture in the French electronic music scene but more importantly has written a sizeable footnote in the history of underground music. French electronic music has always been on point and Yoyaku’s approach to minimal, breaks, house, techno and pretty much every other strain of underground music is exceptionally well represented in their physical store and more so in their online store.

Having now been in their current home at Rue des Cascades for the last 5 years the French underground lynchpins are now ready to expand and will be shortly opening up a new venue that will house their second record store. The multidisciplinary venue will be located in Chapelle XIV and will be furnished with a bespoke Martion soundsystem installed by the founder himself. As you will know from Yoyaku’s stream events they take great pride in the caliber of their intimate events and the Chapelle XIV location will take this ethos further and contain a café and a bar. To inaugurate this second venue Yoyaku will be holding a special event on Saturday, October 3rd and it is possible to attend if you are in the city all you need to RSVP. As with all of their noteworthy events, you will be able to catch some of the Yoyaku all-stars in action across the day
