From one side of Europe to the other two names look to unite the minimal world through their events and their artists’ releases and performances and those brands are VBX from Amsterdam and Sunrise from Bucharest. The two’s contribution to the minimal community is some of the most important and influential parts of the story, from Sunrise’s Sunwaves festival and their growing agency of artists to VBX’s relative new school events and hotly received label releases there is little that hasn’t been accomplished between them. So it is clearly a special event when the 2 announce they will be working together again.
Since the sell-out event during last year’s Amsterdam Dance Event at Lofi another joint party has been in the works and we can now exclusively announce that the party taking place at Shelter on Friday, March 27th will include performances from [a:rpia:r] artists Rhadoo and Praslea and they will, of course, be supported by VBX badman Ferro.
This continues the theme of VBX main artists performing alongside [ar:pia:r] founders with the memory of the recent party at Shelter featuring Raresh and Reiss still lighting up message boards around Europe. If you are anywhere near Amsterdam at this point in March this is not a party you won’t want to miss, as you can see the hookup between Amsterdam and Romania in the booth a special one.
