South Korean gathering The Air House festival will again be offering a pathway into nature as they lay out their full plans for their ninth edition. Running from Friday, May 24th to Sunday, 26th the lush greenery of the island of Nami will be home to three days of wellness, workshops, art exhibitions, and most importantly fantastic music.
We have already delivered the news of the wide ranging first phase lineup that includes domestic heroes as well as international stars from across the music spectrum. Names that immediately spring to mind from this opening salvo include Craig Richards, DJ Masda, Efdemin, Junki Inoue, Magico, and Omar, but there is most definitely more to come.
In the second phase there are even more top tier artists to get excited about if you are going to be making the trip over to the emerging haven for electronic music. To begin with, names that have been added to the lineup include Romanian digger Cap, fellow Ro and vibe specialist Herodot, Rebolledo will be in charge of The Air House Ceremony, and for those with an electro / disco disposition who is better than French artist Yuksek.
With the full array of selectors now set in place, we can now reveal where and when these artists will be plying their trade at Air House 2024. In a slight departure to previous editions there has been movement in the stages and their names. For much of the weekend, it would appear that Soop Stage is the place to be for those of a more minimal persuasion as from Friday night, into Saturday morning you will be able to catch in quick succession Herodot, Cap, Junki Inoue. Saturday night into Sunday morning will provide even more musical highlights in the form of DJ Masda, Craig Richards, Omar, and Magico.
There will be undoubted audio treasures to be found on the Jandi Stage, Hanok Stage, and the Play & Chill area across the weekend, but regardless of what stage you visit the same vibe can be found – warm, happy, and smiling. This seems to be the Air House ethos and with their ninth edition on the horizon it is a winning formula.
To get you in the mood for this magical journey there will be a pre-party on Saturday, May 11th at Volnost in Seou. The artists that are on the lineup for this two room pre-amble will be Afrodite, DJ Wow, Kibum, Moeuv, DJ Sin, Jesse You, Mihak, Xanexx, and Zeemen.
