Outdom Records invite Alien Communications to Paris for a 12-hour session

Outdom Records are building their aesthetic following launch of their vinyl label debut with an extended party in Paris.

On Saturday the 25th Feburary, the crew will take over the 500-cap venue La Péniche Cinéma with 12 hours to play with. Running from midnight through to midday, this is a serious showcase opportunity to get a taste of the various influences inspiring the label’s vision.

UK label Alien Communications have been invited along for the ride. The founders of the self-titled label and curators of their own event Alien Communications (Age Of Hyperion and Bays/Space Dust Transmissions) are paving the way in the new wave of electro and breaks inspired sound.

They will be joined by an intriguing live set from Brooklyn Baby, as well as DJ sets from Latent and Shortcut. That’s a lot of passionate diggers and artists in one room which is sure to be a memorable affair for this exciting new project.

Expect stunning sunrise scenes with this spirited sound that will definitely create a special energy in the small hours. Alien Communications will be playing an extended set for this celebratory occasion in the top-sounding confines of La Péniche Cinéma.

The French label was founded by Brooklyn Baby, Latent & Shortcut, presenting their take on contemporary shades of house music. The first release just dropped in the form of a top V/A with Shortcut and Marc Cotterell sharing the A-side, and two jams from the founders Brooklyn Baby and Latent on the flip.

It’s the kind of stripped-back house with a touch of UK influence you might catch the likes of Apollonia setting the club alight with. No frills, rough grooves are packed with character carrying that eager club vibe through subby basslines and slick percussion.
