The combination of ID and Mad Radio has proved deadly over the last few months as they have delivered some the finest parties to hit Barcelona. Their last party back in November proved to be a huge hit and with sets from headliners Andrew James Gustav and The Ghost the expectations for their next party is even higher.
One thing that ID, Mad Radio, and the knowledgeable ravers have in common is their love of outdoor raves and with the sting being taken out of the Spanish winter this is again possible. With their last event taking place at a secret villa they will be again presenting a stunning off site rave on Saturday, March 5th. Taking place at the eye popping Masia Torre del Pi in Premia de Dalt just outside of Barcelona, this sumptuous villa will play host to a 15-hour party that will make full use of the lush grounds and stone courtyards that adorn the breathtakingly beautiful locale.
For this special edition one of the most in demand and creatively genius duo’s Laurine and Cecilio of Slow Life fame will be top of the pile. Their unbelievably funky yet stripped back productions coupled with an ear for a track has meant their performances are simply unmissable. The pair will also be locked in for a 5 hour set and mind boggles how many different directions they will be able to take the party. As well as this sophisticated double act also making the trip through the greenery of the Barcelona hills will be Berlin based digger Bruno Schmidt. A regular on the world scene and having just returned from a hugely successful US tour Bruno will be packing the usual vinyl heat that he has become so well known for.
Mad Radio and ID clearly have their finger on the pulse when it comes to the finest in international guests but they have their fingers in many pies when it comes to local artists. From imprint Kommuna they welcome back to the fray Pekkuliar who has been making waves in Barcelona with his own showcases. Also on the bill will be Mad Radio’s resident Onoffon as well as ID resident legend Oz who will be reprising his old moniker .
The scene is set musically and of course the venue is to be seen to be believed but with it being off site how best to reach such a fabled gathering? Well of course by bus. Solving all those problems in one fell swoop ID will be arranging transport to and from the venue via their own bus service (13 euros). For those that choose otherwise a taxi will cost roughly 30 euro, public transport will take about 1 hour by metro L3 or L2 + train R1 or you can drive safely to and from the party with parking being 5 euro. Whichever way you get there just make sure you get there as this is set to be yet another unreal event at a visually stunning off site venue. Expect only the best experience from ID and Mad Radio.
