After Caposile is the legendary-status venue that is a highlight on many artist and raver schedules.
The Venice venue has moved from strength to strength in recent years. Alongside the growing record label featuring the likes of Dewalta and Maggio, the crew have been stretching out beyond Italy, playing at some of the finest venues including Berlin’s Hoppetosse in a recent collab with Melcure, Butik Festival, Les Enfants in Barcelona, Roots in Madrid and even the legendary fabric in London.
Last summer, their home venue evolved into a full-fledged creative project with a new club and garden space. Given the reputation of their cosy after-hour showcases with the likes of Margaret Dygas, Alex Picone or Apollonia at the helm, the anticipation of a four-day curation is superbly high.
From 13-16th August, the venue will welcome more than 40 artists for an immersive experience. 56 hours of music will cater for an unforgettable dive into the sound of After Caposile. Split across two stages and a chillout area, this extended trip is the most extensive program so far from the Venice collective.
Inviting six different music partners to the bill, a varied palate of curations will feature from Beeyou Records, Magic Club, Midnight, Oasi, Offline, plus yours truly, Trommel.
Joining us for this unique affair is the living legend tINI. Bringing her infectious energy and bottomless bag of gems, she will be accompanied by a strong trio of residents – Francesco Maddalena, Alexander M and Yaar Ku – for our special closing curation on the 16th of August.
Timings are carefully considered for the marathon, either starting fresh at 7am in the Silos space before moving out to the garden at 11am, or vice versa. It’s clear that the CAPO crew have spent many hours within their beloved space and the planning is perfectly tailored for endurance partying.
The August sun is going to be in full gleam for the duration and this is where you can indulge:
Beeyou brings the fire with a trio of back-to-back sets from their collective. ADMNTi and Zach Murray go head to head, plus Casey Spillman and WODDA, Laidlaw and Jack Ling before handing over to Just Jam for the closing.
Magic Club invite Andrea B, Roko and ADD Soundsystem to rock the new Silo space. OASI will also feature in the fresh open-air spot with Alex Nilmar, Flavr and Extrabeat.
Midnight and Offline join forces for another closing bonanza on the 16th on the Silos stage. Opening up the new dancefloor will be Chory, Massimo Fanti and Sere, the party will be rolling from 7am, before heading into the Trommel takeover of the garden at 1pm.
