After we broke the sad news that Bucharest’s Club Guesthouse would be closing its doors in 2020 the time has finally come to begin the journey to the last party. Club Guesthouse is and always has been a very important club to minimal as both a community and a genre with it being home to a number of Romanian artists.
Few details have been announced at this stage regarding the closing party but what we can confirm is that you need to keep Friday, May 29th to Monday, June 1st free as the doors won’t be closing until the last track has faded from the booming Funktion One sound system. Something else we know for sure is that artists that will be providing the music during this fateful weekend will be amongst the best in the business. The club features some of the best residents a club could ask for and with the resident roster growing in recent times there is no doubt that this will be a party to remember. ‘Traian 42’ means so much to so many so a swan song of epic proportions is inevitable.
