Berlin has been gifted a new open-air venue in the shape of Plötze

Berlin has always been the place to be if you are looking for the best parties in the world and the venues go hand in hand with this notoriety. The post-industrial nature of the city regularly gifts Berlin’s clubbing universe with truly unique venues and another has just popped up and it looks to be rather special indeed.

Plötze in the Wedding district of the city is designed to be a safe space in amongst the madness of even the most debauched parties. Situated on the banks of the lake, it has unique access to the waters that surround Plötze, where attendees will be able to cool off.

As well as the venue itself there will be some of the best music programming in Berlin. This program of events kicked off this weekend past with old friends of Trommel O Mato and their event Lago Do Mato. Featuring music from Vlada, Giammarco Orsini, Jonas Koksal, Patrick Poitz, and Paul Kine. There will, of course, be all kinds of events in the pipeline but one to check out is the venues’ in-house party series Likeminded and they have Tikiman, Laylla Dane, Donato Dozzy, rRoxymore, and Moritz von Oswald all slated to star over the course of the summer. Starting on Saturday, July 24th will be the Slow Life duo of Laurine and Cecilio who will be supporting a live set from The 7th Plain aka Luke Slater. Expect much more from Plötze in the coming months but be rest assured there is more where this came from.
