Multi instrumental artist Alexis Cabrera has since arriving in Berlin from Buenos Aires has entrenched himself in the bricks of the best clubs and dancefloors that the city has to offer. This truly unique artist quite rightly found a home at one of Berlin’s tightest booking agencies Belisa Bookings. Here the Argentinian was able to allow his music to flourish and in that time penned releases for Atipic, Point of View, Yaji, and of course his own Fun Records that he co-runs with Barem. So, it is with a heavy heart that Alexis has confirmed he will be moving from Berlin to Malaga shortly, but not before several farewell performances.
The connecting factor between Alexis and Belisa Booking is Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse, these 2 clubs have been instrumental in Alexis and his Berlin journey and he can regularly be found performing live there. So, it seems only fitting that his last 2 sets should include both of these factors. The first event will take place at CDV on Saturday, August 22nd where he will appear for close friends Federico Molinari and Nekes and their Love Letters from Oslo party, Dorian Paic will also feature. This performance will take the form of a live set as part of experimental duo Wolke7 alongside Miguel Dahbar.
Bleeding into Sunday the combined efforts of this party will roll into the Belisa Booking gathering which will take place in a secret location from the latter part of the afternoon. Helping to see Alexis off will be an extended family group that includes Giuliano Lomonte, Federico Molinari, Ernesto Ferreyra, Monika Ross, Nekes, Gulp, and of course Alexis will be performing live. We are sure that Alexis will be missed but what is their loss will be Malaga’s gain and we wish him all the best on his travels.
