Lights on today’s premiere which belongs to Arapu, a well-known name of the Romanian Electronic universe.
From the early age of fifteen, Ionut Arapu started to flirt with music, playing for his friends, breakbeat and drum and bass at different parties. When moving to Bucharest in 2008, he became known among house music listeners and the popularity increased with numerous invites to radio shows or clubs.
With releases since 2011, Arapu keeps continuingly enchanting dance-floors and eardrums, including even his most recent release, the collaboration with Simone Adinolfi “ Endless Lapse” on Adinolfi’s imprint No Rush.
“Morning Clue” is a well-defined concoction between Arapu’s usual ludic sounds and a majestic piano finished with a touch of some masculine voices. Needles to say, this release is an invitation to the dancefloor, the producer becoming an aural Amphitryon of his out-take.
A marvellous blend between the funky bassline of Arapu and the melodic touch of Simone, resulting in an EP that each express his own emotions in their two tracks.
Our premiere, “Morning Clue” which sit on B1, and is accompanied by another Arapu’s on A1 named End Of That, and by two originals from Simone Adinolfi: “Relapse” (A2) and “Levantyne” (B2).
The release is available on vinyl only format from the 3rd of September on deejay.de
